Directions to Pine Valley Motel and Discovering Equus

Directions to Pine Valley Inn Motel:

On Highway 8, go past Descanso turnoff to next off ramp.  Pine Valley.  Turn Left.  Go to Old Hwy 80 (about 1/2 mile)  Turn right to hotel. (about a mile on left behind restaurant.)

To get back to 9975 Anderson Ranch Road, turn right out of hotel, go to Access road to freeway.  Get on Highway 8 West and go to Highway 79.  Turn RIGHT (NORTH)

Directions to Discovering Equus:

 9975 Anderson Ranch Rd., Descanso, CA  619-659-0193

From airport, take I-5 north to Highway 8 East.  (45-60 minutes, light traffic) Take Highway 8 (In San Diego) East, through El Cajon, 13 miles past Alpine to Highway 79, Descanso, Japatul Valley Road Offramp. (Sign says all three) Turn Left (North) at base of offramp. Go about 1 1/2 miles to cluster of buildings (restaurant)  Street name - Riverside Drive-Descanso.  (Sign says “Descanso” with arrow pointing Left )  Turn Left. Go about 1 1/2 miles to Post Office, Gas Pumps, Convenience store. Street name – Viejas Grade Road. Turn Left. Go 1.8 miles on Viejas Grade Road to Anderson Ranch Road. (About 12 mailboxes lined up on right side of street)  Turn right. Go down steep hill. Notice white fence on right.  Notice no fencing, then more white Fence.  There is an open gate in the second set of white fence.  Turn in, right.
